While Rachel and I were relaxing and enjoying the sight of bluebonnets springing to life all around us during our Hill Country honeymoon, the folks at the Academy of Texas Music were hosting the Texas Music Awards in Linden, TX. Although we weren’t on hand to accept, they still picked me as the 2013 Singer-Songwriter of the Year! Woo-hoo!! Some of y’all were nice enough to go to the TMA website during the voting period and cast a ballot for me for the public portion of the vote. I appreciate your support and want you to know that I share my first Texas Music Award with you! (visitation rights could be tricky though…)
